The combined choirs of University of Canberra Chorale and Oriana Chorale will present an exhilarating performance of Handel’s Messiah conducted by the dynamic and internationally renowned Handel specialist, Tobias Cole. Also featuring will be four outstanding Canberra based professional soloists, Katie Erland, David Yardley, David Mackay and Jeremy Tatchell, accompanied by the professional Canberra Messiah Orchestra led by Tim Wickham. At the end of the first half the Maestro Cole will warm up the audience in preparation for their participation in the climax of the program, the Hallelujah Chorus. In the splendid newly marbled St Christopher’s Cathedral this promises to be a truly uplifting and unmissable experience.
