Woody Allen’s God is the very essence of mad-cap, where the efforts of an ancient Greek playwright and actor to write a play rapidly spill into the crazy modern world, and events and characters move so quickly from the farcical to the ridiculous to the sublime that your head will spin in confusion and laughter!
God is followed by Mark Ravenhill’s blistering black comedy Pool (No Water): a stunningly-caustic examination of friendship and envy which is guaranteed to wipe the smile off your face, and then staple it back on.
