Synopsis

A soirée that will have you rediscovering the fun of doing the foxtrot, waltz, quickstep and swing to a live band and singing along to the popular songs of the era. Featuring live music by Hall Village Brass Band, and with all dances taught on the night by Danzón dance studio.

Hosted by Tobias Cole and the Canberra Choral Society.

DANZÓN DANCE CLASSES

An optional extra to the 1930s Soirée: Learn the Dances! Enjoy the dancing more with an exclusive 6-week package of 1930s dance classes with Danzón dance studio, starting Wednesday 30 May, 7.45pm – 8.30pm. Must be purchased at same time as Soirée tickets.
