Four of Australia’s finest vocalists come together for the debut national tour of Katie Noonan’s new project, AVÉ (Australian Vocal Ensemble). The quartet sees Katie joined by three extraordinary, internationally renowned artists – Tenor Andrew Goodwin, Mezzo-Soprano Fiona Campbell and Bass Baritone Andrew O’Connor. AVÉ intertwines the old and the new, with a particular focus on new Australian music.  Featuring their newly-commissioned song cycle created by prolific Australian writer David Malouf and showcasing Australia’s finest composers alongside new arrangements of Bach, Handel and Tomás Luis de Victoria, Tumbling Like Stars will explore the tension and the ties between traditional European music and modern Australian classical.
