Available for School Incursion Join Australian Dance Party’s ‘Anti Disaster Platoon’ as they lead your students on a dance and sustainability mission in school. Dance heroes, Alpha, Delta and Pi – with the help of your school students – time travel to the year 2109 and the planet Plastika (formerly known as Earth, and otherwise known as the playground equipment at your school). With the special task to explore the problem of plastic and this most unwelcome makeover to beloved planet Earth, students discover their power to change and questions that need answers. Escape from Plastika links with Australian Curriculum – The Arts (Dance, Drama) and Sustainability (Cross Curricula Priority).  Show package includes inquiry toolkit, post show Q&A and student dance interactivity.  For students with access needs relaxed performances are available on request.

Additional Information:
Concession prices not available for all shows. Where Concession prices are listed, proof of eligibility for Concession must be presented to Canberra Ticketing staff upon collection of tickets or full price may be charged. At Canberra Theatre Centre, safety is our priority. We operate in accordance with our COVID Safety Plan.

Our theatre will be operating at 100% capacity and our regular seating configuration is in place in the auditorium. You will be sitting next to other patrons in the theatre.
