Giggle & Hoot has been rescheduled at Canberra Theatre Centre to Sunday 27 June 2021 in the Playhouse Theatre (previously Sunday 5 April 2020).

Ticketing information
Current ticket holders will receive new tickets with updated seating allocation closer to the event date.

If you opted for venue collection, your new ticket(s) will be available to collect from the Box office on the day of the show.

It’s important you use these new tickets to gain access to the new performance. Tickets for the old performance will no longer be valid.

If you cannot make this new date and would like to request a refund please email canberraticketing@act.gov.au to request a call back. Our team is working hard to respond as quickly as possible, we thank you for your patience as we work through these changes.

Giggle & Hoot

After announcing the end of weekly filming schedule for their much-loved ABC series’ in 2019, Jimmy Giggle (played by Jimmy Rees) and his Owl Pals Hoot and Hootabelle are thrilled to be able to activate their time into their live show, taking themselves on the road to share joy with pre-schoolers everywhere in a series of live performances across the country.

Set off on a pirate adventure to find Mini Hoot, and witness the self-proclaimed ‘World’s Greatest Magician’ – Magician Jimmy Giggle-ini – then hoot off into the Giggle Galaxy to help Hootabelle ‘Twinklify’ the stars, with plenty of good times along the way.

Owl Pals can sing, stomp and roar to all their favourite Giggle and Hoot songs, from The Gigglemobile to Go Giggleosaurus and many more.

2019 saw Jimmy and the team dedicate an extraordinary number of hours to filming Giggle and Hoot, first broadcast on 29 June 2009, so the program can remain on the ABC KIDS’ channel, app and iView throughout next year and beyond, continuing to make pre-schoolers smile and laugh from when they wake until the moment Hoot’s Lullaby sings them to sleep at night.

Concession prices not available for all shows. Where Concession prices are listed, proof of eligibility for Concession must be presented to Canberra Ticketing staff upon collection of tickets or full price may be charged.
