Sarah Blasko writes songs that strike with rare immediacy, clarity and purpose. Melodies beguilingly simple, lyrics honest and direct. Music steeped in atmosphere and mood.
Her latest offering, Depth of Field (due February 23), represents another extraordinary chapter in the career of an artist whose six-album run of genre defining art-pop is unparalleled. The album is the follow-up to Blasko’s ARIA Award winning, AMP shortlisted Eternal Return.
To celebrate the release of Depth of Field, Blasko has also announced a run of headline shows, leading her miraculous band (Donny Benet, Laurence Pike and Dave Hunt) on an extensive national tour.
